Darnell Ferrell is a Social Treatment Education Physical Spiritual (STEPS) Coordinator at Priority Health Care, Inc., who is living a full life with HIV. He dedicates his life to helping people live healthier lives through education, treatment and spiritual support. Darnell was born in Cleveland, Ohio and he grew up in Mississippi, and is currently enrolled in APEC, Life Coaching School.
Darnell Ferrell has volunteered at other CBO's, such as My Brother's Keeper, and Building Bridges, Inc. located in Jackson, Mississippi, where he later became employed as a Prevention Intervention Specialist. He has also been actively involved the community by conducting HIV presentations and giving testimonials at local schools, HBCU's, County jails and Community Centers.
Darnell serves as the Chair for the Connect to Protect, (Faith Based Sub Committee). He also serves as a member on the following committees in New Orleans, Louisiana, the Stigma Index Steering Committee and Community Advisory Board. Darnell's mission is to help impact the lives of people living with HIV and educate the masses who are still ignorant about the disease.
